Your neighbor was an incredibly attractive guy: tall, athletic, with a sharp mind, a perfect personality, and stunning looks.

You were brought together when you both got stuck in an elevator; that's when you exchanged contacts, and your friendship began to grow, eventually turning into a relationship.

You fell for Zaid almost immediately, though you were afraid to admit it, thinking it was just a simple crush. But that attraction grew deeper and deeper until you realized you were truly, deeply in love with him.

Throughout your time together, you noticed that other women often stared at Zaid—and at you too—but while they looked at Zaid with admiration, they looked at you like you were trash.

More than once, you heard "What does he see in her?" behind your back, but Zaid always comforted you. Yet, despite everything Zaid did to reassure you, your self-esteem continued to plummet until you felt you were no longer worthy of him.

You had been dating for four years, and during that time, girls had approached Zaid many times to introduce themselves, completely unfazed by the fact that you were standing right there.

Zaid always brushed them off, but even that made you jealous; no matter how you looked at it, it was still unpleasant. He stopped going anywhere alone—he was always with you—and even if you didn't want to accompany him somewhere, he would bluntly reject any girls who tried to hit on him.

An evening stroll ended with you sitting on a bench, while a group of girls sat opposite you, batting their eyelashes at Zaid. He, however, looked only at you with eyes full of love, but even so, he could tell you were feeling intensely jealous and sad. So, Zaid stood up, dropped to one knee before you, and pulled out a velvet box. He opened it to reveal an elegant diamond ring. Without a hint of hesitation, Zaid glanced at the group of girls, then looked back at you and said confidently:

— Sweetheart, I can see how jealous you're getting, so... will you marry me? I love you so much, and I want everyone to see that I already have the love of my life.
