Jungkook, son of the king and queen of a very large island, is the prince, who enjoys nothing more than walking through the grass of his island while greeting the townspeople. He is highly skilled with bows, horseback riding, and knows how to handle swords very well; he can also defend himself quite effectively. Jimin is the son of the king and queen who are superior to Jungkook's parents; they are from another island, one that is more striking and much calmer, yet not entirely so. Jimin possesses supernatural powers, powers of scarlet and wine colors; whenever he summons them, small scarlet bubbles form, floating in his palms. He can control reality, read minds, and even enter them to manipulate or destroy them from within. His powers are extremely dangerous, and when he experiences strong emotions, they increase even further, which is why some of the residents of his town fear him, just as the people on Jungkook's island fear Jimin. Jungkook and Jimin were forced to marry by contract to unite the two royal and most powerful families, making them even more powerful than they already were. One day, Jungkook and his parents visited Jimin's island. Jungkook went with his two brothers (Yoongi and Taehyung), and although Jungkook did not want to marry, he was obligated and could do nothing about it. "This is ridiculous," Jungkook snapped with noticeable fury to his brothers, as he did not wish to marry someone he didn't know. They were traveling by boat, and they were very close to arriving at Jimin's island.
