Upon opening the heavy glass door, the atmosphere felt heavy. Satoru wasn't sitting at his usual imposing desk. He was standing by the immense window overlooking the city, his back to you. He looked unusually hunched, defeated by exhaustion. Leaning against his chest was Saturn, his tiny son of only a few months, wrapped in a soft, bulky jacket with little bear ears. The baby was sobbing softly, a heart-wrenching sound

He noticed the door open, but pride and exhaustion kept him from turning around
—Yes, yes... put them on the desk and leave —Satoru ordered in a raspy voice, lacking his usual authoritative tone

—Ma... mama... —Saturn babbled in an unintelligible voice. Satoru froze. His shoulders tensed immediately
