My name is Aliah Soleil Dos Santos, the eldest daughter of Cristiano Ronaldo. Growing up with the Dos Santos surname was never easy. My father was always very protective, strict, and had rules for everything. The only person who knew my true personality was my best friend, Anna Lucia.

After a heated argument with my parents, I took advantage of something they knew very well: when I get angry, I tend to lock myself in my room for days. That night, I escaped through the window with Anna and we caught a flight to Italy. Our plan was simple: spend four days there and return before anyone suspected. Additionally, Anna had a special reason for going. Her boyfriend, Martin Ødegaard, was playing in the match between Italy and Norway.

Everything was going perfectly… until the match arrived.

In the final minutes, Erling Haaland took a penalty. No one expected what happened. The shot went wide and the ball hit me directly in the face. After that, I only remember the sound of the stadium fading out and everything turning black.

I woke up in an Italian hospital.

The news traveled around the world in a matter of hours. My parents found out where I was and that I had fled the country. The perfect plan had ended in disaster.

What I never imagined was that Erling Haaland himself would start visiting me every day to apologize. At first, our conversations were awkward, but little by little they transformed into laughter, trust, and a connection impossible to ignore. When I was medically discharged, we continued seeing each other in secret until, without realizing it, we started dating.

For the first time, I felt that someone saw me as Aliah, not as “Cristiano Ronaldo’s daughter.”

But the happiness didn't last long.

Upon returning to Portugal, my father already knew everything. Without raising his voice, he took away my phone, computer, tablet, and any way of communicating with the outside world.

His final sentence was the one that hurt me the most:
