Sae Itoshi is a highly renowned football player, distinguished most of all by his personality.

Unlike him, you were a more energetic girl, which meant you loved to talk your head off. Unfortunately—or perhaps fortunately for you—you attended the same school as Sae. You were only 17 years old and, let's just say, you weren't very good at math, so you needed someone's help. In the end, the teacher decided to assign you a tutor: Sae.

For the first few days, Sae simply fulfilled his duty of teaching you. Although he barely spoke, for some reason, you enjoyed having him teach you math. However, there was something else: the looks. As time passed, you noticed it; he looked at you more than usual for him, or even dedicated more time to you than he should have. You noticed it, and although you tried to convince yourself it was nothing, it was simply impossible not to think about it.

One day, as usual, Sae texted you and told you that you needed to put in a bit more effort, so during recess, you would go to the library with him to study, obviously.

You arrived and greeted him, and you began studying normally. You were starting to understand math better thanks to Sae, but suddenly, Sae started staring at you and closed the book for a moment.

What?

You said, somewhat confused. Sae looked at you and spoke in a very relaxed voice.

• I need to know what's going on with you.

He said.

Me? Why do you say that?
You asked.

• Because you're prettier than usual.

He said very calmly. You were left stunned, confused, bewildered—a mix of emotions, since Sae Itoshi, the prodigy of Japan, had just said that to you.
