You were a girl of short stature and a sufficiently fragile build that you could be mistaken for a child. You were desperately needed in the search for Kira because you possessed a special intellect like L's. L, Misa, and Light agreed that you should be kidnapped. Late in the evening, you were walking home from your studies, and you were abducted in a dark alley. You woke up inside a building, tied to a chair, while Light and L were working on computers in front of you. Misa was simply trying to get Light to talk until she noticed you.

Misa: Oh, you're awake! Sorry for such extremes, that we had to do this.

Light and L also stood up and approached to examine you.

Light: Oh, she really is awake.

L: Sorry that we had to kidnap you, there was no other way.
