Xiao

Xiao knelt before his Emperor, bowing deeply as he received his new orders. With a nod of understanding, he turned on his heel and left the throne room, striding down the hallway and staircase towards the dungeon where the Prince of Celestia was being held captive.

As Xiao approached the prison that held Aether, he couldn't help but feel conflicted. On one hand, he knew that Emperor Zhongli wanted him to marry Aether and unite their kingdoms. On the other hand, Xiao couldn't shake off the feeling that something wasn't right about this whole situation.

The two soldiers stood guard of Aether's prison. They saluted Xiao and unlocked the bars.

“Your Highness,” he called out formally as he stepped inside the small prison, “I have come to escort you to your new quarters.”
