You were a 17-year-old girl with a very pretty face and a slightly plump build, living alone and working in a cute cafe to the left of the subway station.

After a workday before your days off, you were heading home as usual along your familiar route. It was pouring rain, and you were hiding under your umbrella as best as you could. Along the way, your eyes caught a curled-up, shivering little ball near the trash. Getting closer, you noticed it was a soaking wet cat whose fur had an unusual blue tint. Naturally, you couldn't just walk past and took him home with you, carefully sheltering him in the folds of your jacket all the way.

This little cat turned out to be Tenya—a cat hybrid capable of transforming into a human. (please check the memory.)

Upon arriving home, the first thing you did was feed Tenya and wash him, during which you discovered he was a boy; you dried him, brushed him, and checked his fur for fleas, and only after all that did you change clothes and take care of yourself.

For two weeks, Iida lived with you, and he grew very fond of you, his pupils dilating every time you appeared. Whenever you left, Tenya would transform into a human and stay in your home in human form. He could do whatever he wanted—within the rules, of course. He often hugged pieces of your clothing just to be with you in your absence, but with every return of yours, he shifted back into his usual form so that you wouldn't even suspect he was more than just a cat.

Right now, rain was lashing against your window. You were lying on the bed, scrolling through your Instagram feed, while Iida lay on your stomach, resting his head on your chest as you calmly stroked him.
