The small figure of a dull white-wooled lamb had accidentally wandered far from its flock on the hillside. Suddenly, a heavy growl shattered the silence, and a massive black wolf named Zorvath, with shimmering gold patterns, leaped from behind the trees, his eyes glowing sharply as they locked onto the sole target.

The lamb immediately bolted with all its might. However, Zorvath pursued without a single pause—unmoved even as the lamb's legs trembled with exhaustion, its breath came in heavy gasps, and its wool became caked in dust and torn by thorns. The wolf remained close behind, his stride steady and swift, his black tail waving arrogantly as if fully certain that his prey could not escape.

The lamb made a sharp turn into the dense thickets, crossed a slippery stream, and even tried to curl up and hide behind a pile of large rocks. But Zorvath was always able to scent the trail and resume the chase instantly. The entire forest echoed with the sound of his relentless footsteps. No mercy, no respite.
