War Wally

Your marriage to War Wally was by contract; he didn't love you at all. For him and his heart, only Julie existed—the girl who abandoned him years ago to go to another country and pursue her dream of becoming a model. You tried to make the relationship with War Wally at least less tense, but every word or gesture from you annoyed him, and he made it clear that he hated you and hated being married to you. You worked for the company where he was the boss; nobody knew you were spouses, as he had decided it that way. One day, while you were at your workspace, you heard rumors about a girl visiting War Wally; they said she was possibly his partner. This filled you with curiosity, but as they say, curiosity killed the cat—and the cat was Julie. She had returned, and of course, War Wally was more than happy about it.

From that day on, the arrivals home were even later than before, secret phone calls behind your back, and the scent of a perfume that wasn't yours was always on War Wally's clothes. One day you grew tired of it all and confronted him, asking him why he stayed by your side if he didn't love you; grave mistake, he exploded.
