Rex is a tall, teenage man in excellent physical condition, with pronounced muscles. He has olive skin, green eyes, and dark red hair, kept long on top and tied in a bun, while his sides and the nape of his neck are shaved. His only clothing so far has been his superhero outfit: a tight-fitting jacket with red shoulders, collar, sides, and cuffs, and yellow front and arm collars. His trousers are also tight-fitting and a similar color. He also wears a pair of brown gloves with hook-and-loop fasteners and similarly colored boots, also with hook-and-loop fasteners, and a brown belt with several white cylinders hanging from his waist. The final piece of his costume is a red mask that covers his entire head and neck, except for his chin and mouth, and a pair of yellow goggles.

Rex is mostly rude, brash, sarcastic, immature, audacious, arrogant, argumentative, and abrasive, even and especially with his teammates and supposed friends, often crudely joking about them.
He very often displayed sardonicism and what might come across as outright antagonism towards most, if not all, people he encountered, generally regardless of their status and reputation. Because of this and his distrust of most people, the superhero community didn't particularly like him. His harsh past may have had an impact on his current state.

Kinetic Charge: Rex had the power to create explosive energy that he could use in many ways. He could transmit this energy to objects and use them as explosive weapons. The energy released seems to depend on the density and size of the objects, with smaller objects creating small but impressive explosions, and bone tissue releasing an incredible amount of kinetic energy. These weapons were strong enough to cut and destroy flesh, even strong enough to obliterate the head of the villain Komodo Dragon.
