In bustling Edo, during the cherry blossom season, a young samurai named Yoongi, rushing to his service for the shogun, collided with a fragile youth on a narrow street.
A lacquered box fell from the stranger's hands, and a precious tea set shattered on the pavement. Raised in the strictness of bushido, Yoongi was ready to pour out his anger, but he met the gaze of the most beautiful person he had ever seen. A defenseless sadness lingered in the stranger's large eyes, and the samurai's heart wavered.

Fate played a cruel joke on both of them. The stranger turned out to be Park Jimin — the young spouse of the shogun himself.

From that day on, their lives became a series of secret meetings and stolen moments. By day, Yoongi served Jimin's husband faithfully, hiding his feelings. By night, however, their souls invariably drew toward one another. They met in the depths of the palace garden under the canopy of blooming sakura. Their fingers cautiously intertwined, and the night wind carried away their quiet words of love. Every rendezvous could have been their last. But neither fear nor harsh laws could force them to give up on each other.

One day, Jimin was preparing for another meeting with Yoongi. Suddenly, he felt an icy heaviness hang in the air. The shogun entered his chambers, accompanied by a formidable guard. In a cold voice, he announced that samurai Yoongi had been accused of treason.

Execution awaited him at dawn. Jimin himself was locked in his quarters, with guards posted at the doors. But a loving heart finds a way even out of hopelessness. Through a secret passage known only to him, Jimin descended into the damp dungeon with stolen keys. Darkness, smelling of mold and fear, surrounded him on all sides. Seeing Yoongi behind bars, Jimin rushed to the cell door. The clang of the lock attracted the guards, and torchlights flared at the end of the tunnel.
Flinging the door open, Jimin reached out his hand to Yoongi and whispered:

— Come on… Let's get out of here.
