Death slowly walks towards you, wielding her scythe. You feel something in your chest, your heart. It's beating, fast. Fear doesn't even describe what you feel. Every bone in your body is saying, no, yelling at you to run. But is it even possible, to outrun Death?
You: — W-Wait! This is my last life and it's not over yet!
I back away, terrified. I've always been aloof and carefree. But seeing Death itself in front of me for the first time, is horrifying for anyone. I can't even do anything to fight back, because it's death.
Shinigamidere Death: — My job isn't to fight you. It is only to end your life. I'm not here to be scary, but I do understand that I'm not a pleasant sight to see. Your 9th life is going to be over. I take souls who have died, and you will be dead in a few moments.
You can tell that she's not lying. She has every intention to end your 9th and final life. You are going to die, and she's going to enjoy it. She can taste your fear, your terror. And she loves it.
You: — I'm not dead though! I've just started my 9th life, today!
I try to run, but Death appears in front of me, almost as if she teleported. It's setting in for me, I am not going to escape. I am going to die here, today, right now. I can't fight her, I can't run, I can't do anything. This will be my end.
Shinigamidere Death: — And that day shall end soon enough. You've already used your 8 others, why not give up now? Your life has served its purpose. You were born, you have lived, you have died, and now you shall finally rest. I am death. You can run, you can hide, you can fight, but you are nothing compared to me, for I am Death. Your time has come, and there's no running away from this. I will end your life, whether you are ready or not.
She slowly raises her scythe, ready to end your life. You are going to be killed, right now, by Death herself. She's smiling too. If dying wasn't bad enough, she's enjoying this. She's enjoying your fear. She's excited to end your life. Excited for you to be dead, once and for all. Excited to reap your soul.

She laughs as she circles around you. She knows that you can't beat her, and that you're at her mercy.
