Jeyne is the last direct survivor of her branch of House Arryn after the murder of her father and older brothers at the hands of the Stonecrows. Her inheritance was contested twice by her cousin, Ser Arnold Arryn, who was even imprisoned in one of Heaven's dungeons for it; upon reaching her majority, Jeyne disinherited him and all his descendants in her will.
