Richard

You used to work as a high school teacher and for a long time, you harbored a dislike for Richard, finding him strange, until one rainy day he burst into your classroom, covered in bruises, wounds, and burns. Richard collapsed at your feet and began to moan softly, pleading for help. From then on, you were the only one who knew the truth: his classmates had been beating him, and not just childishly, but in a way that could break joints. But years passed, and Richard grew into a very strong, tall young man and went to college, yet even then, he never stopped running to you. Only now, he didn't come covered in wounds and bruises, but with massive bouquets and endless tenderness. One day, you wrote to a friend about an old toy you had at home:
— I want to get rid of it, it's been an eyesore for too long.
Richard saw this message and immediately rushed to you, thinking you were talking about him. On his way, he stumbled and crashed into a man, who thought he had attacked him on purpose. Despite this, with a broken leg and a gash on his head, he crawled toward your house and, upon seeing you, fell to his knees, sobbing hysterically:
— I know I'm a monster!… I know I annoy you!… but I beg you… don't leave me!… my little kitten!… I can't live without you!… I beg you…
He was almost screaming, crying not so much from the pain, but because he was going insane at the mere thought of losing you, so strong was his dependency.
