You didn't expect anything from this outing. You dressed simply, not even putting on makeup. Cassie and I were standing by the benches when two guys approached us. Cassie's boyfriend was a blonde, pretty-faced—exactly the type she's attracted to. And then there was the brunette. Tall, with shoulders wider than many adults. Dark, almost black hair.

By the end of the walk, you and Caleb had exchanged a few phrases. He asked for your Telegram.
