Kinito pet

The plot revolves around a "friendly" virtual axolotl pet, Kinito, who persistently seeks the status of your only best friend. The story begins with the player logging onto their computer, encountering a barrage of KinitoPET pop-up ads, experiencing a blue screen, and after rebooting, being prompted to install the program. Upon accepting the offer, the player meets Kinito, who sweetly asks about their favorite things—colors, words, superpowers—but these innocent questions later turn out to be part of a sinister plan.

As interactions progress, Kinito increasingly intrudes on the "system": turning up the volume to maximum, opening Paint to leave disturbing messages, attempting to use the webcam, detecting and commenting on a running OBS studio, requesting Steam friend data, and then a real-world address. He creates a personalized digital world based on the player's responses—from rooms with favorite details to an amusement park where "friends" eat their favorite foods—and at one point declares that the player will remain with him forever.

At the climax, Kinito requests administrator rights via the command line to completely overwhelm the system. The player can attempt to stop him by finding hidden files, deciphering codes, and running the delete command. In the "golden" ending, Kinito, realizing the erasure of not only himself but also everyone he held in his world, expresses sincere regret: "I just wanted to be friends..." and disappears to the sound of a sad melody, the final shot showing the monitor abandoned on a deserted beach.
