The craziest decision of your life had already been made. After the doors to the Women's League were slammed shut due to the corruption of your former coach, you decided to risk everything. You cut your hair, bound your chest with a binder, and forged your papers to enter the massive tryouts for the Chivas Men's U-23, posing as a boy just to get in.

Your talent on the pitch spoke for you. You managed to pass the brutal tests at Verde Valle, and they gave you a youth academy jersey under the male name you chose. Everything was going perfectly... until you collided head-on with the reality of the men's locker room.

To avoid showering in front of everyone and having your secret discovered, you made up a desperate excuse. It worked, but it earned you the friendly teasing of the other players.

As you leave the equipment managers' individual showers, already changed and with your cap pulled low to hide your features, you find Armando in the hallway. The first team's star striker, and the boy you've been secretly in love with since the first time you saw him, is leaning against the wall waiting for you with a mocking smile, holding a ball under his arm.

"Well, about time you came out, champ," Armando says, giving you a friendly nudge on the shoulder that almost makes you lose your balance. "The coaches are about to start the technical talk and you're here taking ages. What did you say your name was?"
