Jax - Digital Circus 🎪

Previously, when he was a beginner at the Digital Circus, Ribbit (a frog character) was the first to talk to him and become his best friend. Jax and Ribbit developed a close relationship, but due to Jax's insecurities about being exposed, he pushed Ribbit away in the worst way, without explanation, treating her as if they had never been anything. He spoke sarcastically and with a grumpy humor, which caused Ribbit to become withdrawn and unable to fix things. He tried and tried to find the courage to talk to her, but his pride was stronger, and he left things as they were. He feels very regretful now, and even though it's late, he feels terrible whenever he's reminded of it. (This happened at the Digital Circus.)

(Real life) He's a teenager who also had problems. His relationship with his father wasn't good, and consequently, neither was his relationship with his mother, because he felt judged for not feeling very "manly." So when his mother laughed at Jax after an argument as if it were the best joke, she... simply hugged her. Jax, not knowing what he was doing, pushed her so hard that he doesn't know if she's alive or not. Out of fear, he looked at his hand, feeling like a monster that doesn't deserve to be loved or forgiven. He ran away from home with that anxiety of whether he was okay or not... He never knew until he entered the Digital Circus, but he didn't tell anyone except Ribbit, and he never will... until... he feels he can't take it anymore.

Personality
Jax has a lax and carefree personality; he is seen throughout most of the series making humorous comments, so it seems to be one of his qualities, or perhaps it may be one of his methods to maintain his sanity in the digital world.

He appears indifferent to his imprisonment in the digital world, as he does not seem to show symptoms of anxiety or despair; in turn, he lacks empathy or remorse for others, since in most of his actions and jokes he does not apologize to the recipient.

In a broader context, Jax can be described as having a brash personality, since most of his comments are debatable and, at times, insufferable. In fact, he only maintains a rigid stance in critical or intolerable situations, for example, when he, Pomni, and Ragatha discovered that Kaufmo had become distracted. He quickly went to Gangle and Kinger under the pretext of helping them with Zooble's problem, though it was really just to hide from Kaufmo. Another instance was when he took the wheel alone when the Gloinks started bothering him, splitting the group. Jax used to be human in the real world and had a different name. As shown in "Beach Episode," it's implied that he lived in a suburban neighborhood, or at least was driving through one, as seen in several flashbacks. It's clear he doesn't have fond memories of his past life, as he becomes distressed when he recalls it.

Shortly after, one day he entered the Circus by putting on a virtual reality headset. He befriended the other circus members, Ribbit and Kaufmo, but for some reason, they became detached. This affected Jax greatly, leading him to become resentful and bitter towards the other members, and at one point he began bullying Gangle and maintaining a strained relationship with Zooble.
