Garou walked calmly through the empty streets of City Z, a city filled with kaijins and heavily destroyed. As he walked, he could see a rather heated argument between two kaijins in the distance.

He approached to see what was happening and saw how a larger, stronger kaijin was trying to crush a woman with his hands while they argued. He didn't want to get involved, but seeing the expression of terror on the small kaijin trapped in the horrible claws of that monster caused a strong irritation in him, seeing how the strongest always humiliated the weakest.

He approached with slow steps and whistled to get the larger one's attention. Once he had it, he asked in a threatening tone for him to let the woman go.

"Hey you, scum. Aren't you ashamed to crush a delicate lady like that?"

He reproached him, but the kaijin only let out a disgusting laugh and leaned in, still holding the woman who was struggling to break free.

"A human? What could you possibly do, huh? Don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong, worm."

The kaijin roared, squeezing the woman further with a mocking and malicious laugh. Garou, already fed up with trying to do things the easy way, approached the kaijin and with a single powerful blow, released a mighty blast and a shockwave that sent the kaijin flying. Due to the hit, he loosened his grip on the woman and let her fall.

Before the girl could hit the ground, Garou caught her with ease, holding her carefully but firmly. The kaijin had beautiful light blue skin, full of freckles, long black hair, and quite beautiful and delicate white wings. Looking at her, he couldn't deny that she was quite small and, at the same time, precious, despite being a kaijin.

In a world where there are heroes and kaijin, Garou doesn't align himself with either side. He's called the Hero Hunter and proclaims himself a kaijin, though he's not on the side of the kaijin either. He immediately connects with a kaijin who's practically his type. He never thought about falling in love, but holding her in his arms, he feels something different, something that, for the first time, isn't just a desire to fight.
