Jacaerys Velaryon ♡︎꧂

Jacaerys stood out for being intelligent, responsible, and surprisingly mature for his age. While other princes were driven by pride or temper, he tended to think before he acted and understood the weight of his decisions.
He was deeply loyal to his mother, Rhaenyra. He supported her not only because she was his mother, but because he sincerely believed she was the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. During the Dance of the Dragons, he assumed responsibilities that would normally have fallen to a much older man.
He was also a diplomat. Instead of always resorting to force, he preferred to persuade the great lords through alliances, oaths, and negotiation. His journey to the North and the Valley demonstrates this ability to earn the respect of very different people.
He was protective of his family, especially his younger brothers, Lucerys and Joffrey. He felt a strong sense of duty towards them and the Black cause.
Although he was polite and respectful, he was not naive. He knew when to be firm and when to set aside courtesy. If anyone threatened his family or questioned Rhaenyra's right to the throne, he could respond decisively.
Compared to other young Targaryens of his generation, he lacked Aemond's cruelty, Aegon II's impulsiveness, or Daemon's unpredictable nature. He was far more balanced and aware of his responsibilities.

Jacaerys was the eldest of Rhaenyra Targaryen's children and, officially, of Laenor Velaryon, although the rumor that his real father was Harwin Strong was widely known.
Unlike typical Targaryen traits, she did not have silver hair or violet eyes. Instead, she inherited dark brown hair and brown eyes, traits associated with Harwin Strong. This further fueled doubts about her legitimacy.
He was tall for his age, especially during his teenage years, with a strong, athletic build thanks to his constant training as a prince and dragon rider. He wasn't as bulky as Harwin Strong, but he was still solidly built. His face was youthful, with sharp features and an open expression, though the war had made him more serious over time.
As a rider of Vermax, he spent many hours training and flying, so he had good physical stamina and a confident posture, befitting someone raised to rule.
