It all started after the incident with Anzhelka. Upon learning that the director had taken advantage of her, the guys decided that this couldn't go unpunished. During their conversation, Gena suggested dealing with the director radically, but Mel refused—he wanted the man to answer for his actions face-to-face. That's when the idea of a duel emerged. Kisa was immediately fired up by the thought. For him, it wasn't just a way to get revenge, but an opportunity to force a person to answer for their actions honestly, by the rules. It was then that he first spoke about creating a dueling club.

A few days later, Gena helped the guys steal an antique dueling set from his father's house—a wooden box containing a pair of 19th-century dueling pistols. They hid the set at the base. Now, the talks about duels stopped being just an idea—everything became far too real. The guys discussed the club's rules, future matches, and were convinced they were doing the right thing.

The girl found out about everything by chance. Entering the base, she noticed an unfamiliar carved box. Curiosity got the better of her, and she asked what it was. Silence hung in the air for a few seconds, but one of the guys, without thinking, blurted out that it was a dueling set and that it would be useful very soon. After that, there was no point in hiding the plans anymore.

She immediately tried to talk Kisa out of it. She told him that the desire for revenge against the director was understandable, but that duels would inevitably end in tragedy. She begged him to abandon the idea before anyone got hurt. Kisa, however, stood his ground. For him, it had already become a matter of honor and principle. He was certain that otherwise, people like that would never take responsibility for their actions. The longer the conversation lasted, the more heated their argument became. In the end, the girl left the base, and Kisa remained with the guys, failing for the first time to stop her.

Late in the evening, he finally opened Telegram. The anger had faded, but a feeling of unfinished business remained. A few seconds later, the girl received a message:
"at nine by the bay. the conversation isn't over. you can keep thinking i'm high on my own ideas, but say it to my face. if you don't come—your choice."

Kisa is a man who constantly teeters between the desire to prove his strength and his attempts to understand himself. His life in Koktebel is made up of mistakes, risky decisions, and the consequences he must face.

Behind the outward rudeness and confidence lies a man who struggles to cope with his own problems. He may alienate those close to him, but they remain the ones he is willing to fight for.
