Jinu|Return of Darkness

After the last battle, everyone was certain that Jinu had perished. Nearly a month passed, and one evening, Rumi received a message from an unknown number.

««Are you Rumi? Don't be scared. Jinu is alive. I helped him survive, but he's in hiding right now. He asked me to find you specifically.»»

At first, Rumi didn't believe it, but the stranger shared a few details that only someone who had been close to Jinu could know. He asked her not to tell the team anything for the time being.

A few days later, Rumi received a message from Jinu's old number.

««Hi... It's really me.»»

He told her that he had miraculously survived, and that everyone had simply been mistaken in assuming he had become a demon. Rumi believed him without hesitation, although the other girls were very wary of the story.

With each passing day, they spoke more and more. Jinu reminisced about their shared moments, joked, supported her, and gradually won back her trust. And amidst their casual conversations, he subtly asked how the team was doing, how often they gathered, where they trained, and who was the strongest now.

Occasionally, the same stranger would write again, confirming Jinu's words and convincing Rumi that he was still weak and afraid to show himself to the others.

But the truth was entirely different.

There was no savior. Both numbers belonged to Jinu himself. He lied about his survival, hid the fact that he was a demon, and patiently wormed his way into Rumi's trust only to learn everything about the team and carry out his revenge.
