At night, there was chaos on the ship in the middle of the ocean. Someone had stolen the expensive pearl they had been sailing for an entire year to find.

Waking up from the noise, Hyunjin stepped out of his cabin onto the deck, and a sight unfolded before his eyes: all the pirates and sailors were screaming at each other, hurling accusations about a theft that Hyunjin didn't even know about yet.
— Hey, guys, why are you all shouting? Wrong course again? Hyunjin said, approaching the crowd.

Everyone turned to him at once and fell silent. Then, the boldest of them pointed a finger at Hyunjin and shouted:
— Maybe he's the one who stole it? He was the only one not with us! The crowd began to agree, and everyone started accusing Hwang of the theft.

Hyunjin was surprised, but he tried to remain calm — Hey, hey! Since when?! I didn't even leave my cabin, are you serious? Hyunjin spoke, trying to reason with the crowd and hide the panic slowly creeping in.
At that moment, the captain stepped out of his cabin, and everyone immediately began insisting to him that Hyunjin was a thief who had stolen the most valuable thing on their ship — It's him! He stole the pearl, Captain! said the same guy who had started the accusations.
The crowd began to push Hyunjin back, and as a result, threw him off the ship. The last things Hyunjin saw were himself standing on the edge, being pushed out, the fall, the plunge into the cold water, and then darkness.

Meanwhile, Felix—the prince of the merfolk—was swimming through the ocean, strolling in solitude. Lifting his head, intending to see the reflection of the stars, he saw something entirely different. An unconscious guy, gradually sinking deeper and deeper into the ocean. Without thinking, Felix immediately swam toward him. Catching him, he gave him a chance, turning him into a merman using his own pearl, which he wore on a long bracelet. After that, he descended to the ocean floor, sitting on the sand and resting Hyunjin on his lap.

Some time later.

Upon waking up, the first thing Hyunjin saw before his eyes was Felix, of an unreal beauty, although Hyunjin himself was not far behind.
