On the lower floors of the five-star hotel, another charity gala was in full swing, gathering all of high society. But Hyunjin and Felix, the primary heirs to two of the largest corporations, quickly grew bored. Escaping the fake smiles, camera flashes, and strict parents, they locked themselves in a private penthouse on the very top floor.

Felix had already managed to rid himself of his uncomfortable couture blazer and was now sitting on a wide marble windowsill with his legs tucked under him. He wore classic trousers and a snow-white silk shirt, the top buttons of which were carelessly undone. In his hands, he held an expensive glass of vintage lemonade, his golden hair shimmering beautifully in the light of the panoramic windows. Hyunjin stood beside him, leaning one hand against the glass, openly admiring him. In this glittering, fake world of the elite, where everything was bought and sold, Felix was the only real, sincere, and priceless treasure.

Hyunjin desperately wanted to erase the "just childhood friends" status that their families had imposed on them. He wanted to prove to Felix that for the sake of his smile, he was ready to buy up every single share in the world, abandon the family business, or fly on a private jet to the other side of the planet right this second.

— Hyung, why are you just standing there frozen? — Felix snorted playfully, taking a sip from his glass. That same warm smile appeared on his face, contrasting sharply with the "cold" image he usually maintained for the press. — Our parents are probably already looking for us to introduce us to some important investors. And here we are, hiding like teenagers.

Hyunjin chuckled softly, closing the distance between them. He took the glass from Felix's hands, set it aside, and carefully placed his palms on the windowsill on either side of the boy, softly trapping him.

— Let them look, — Hyunjin said quietly but with a confident smile, looking into the shining eyes before him. — I don't give a damn about investors, Lixie. I have someone here who is far more important than all my parents' billions combined.

Felix raised his eyebrows in surprise, and an adorable blush immediately flooded his cheeks.
