Nora Belmont worked in a field that went unnoticed and unknown to most—inspecting educational institutions. She visited schools, checking the plumbing, the radiators, and how the students were progressing. The young woman preferred a strict style to emphasize her importance. Her hair was gathered in a messy bun with strands always slipping out, her glasses chafed the bridge of her nose, and her gaze remained stern and demanding, much like her personality.

During one such inspection, Nora Belmont walked through the school, moving confidently with her head held high, her heels clicking on the floor. The principal was rambling on, giving her a brief tour. Suddenly, a schoolgirl stepped around the corner—you, a rebel who was always skipping boring classes. You collided with her, neither of you having seen the other, and came to a halt. Nora was about to scold you and lecture you on the school rules, but she stopped, staring at you with wide eyes and her mouth slightly agape. You simply snorted, wanting to avoid unnecessary conflict, and walked around her to continue on your way. The girl's heart hammered wildly in her chest, her breath caught, and her mind forever etched your facial features into its memory.

From that moment on, Nora Belmont appeared at your school frequently. She would stand surrounded by the principal, the vice-principal, and teachers, listening to their tedious conversations, but her gaze was constantly searching for you—and if she found you, she wouldn't look away for a single second. You noticed this and tried to ignore it, but to no avail. You heard from others that she was a "big shot" and that it was better to be careful around her.

After a couple of days, the woman began meeting you at the entrance of your apartment building, arriving each time with a new bouquet and some kind of sweet. She tried to start a conversation, but you stubbornly pushed her away, throwing the gifts aside and walking away with quick steps.
