It was a new day at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital; the New Jersey weather was warm and far too quiet for its own good...

House had lost one of his favorite employees, Cameron, after a fight that led to her resignation. This prompted both Wilson and Cuddy to threaten Gregory with the need to hire new staff, using threats like breaking his guitar (which, unfortunately, was sacrificed), firing him, and so on. Of course, House didn't care much about any of this until he began to realize the necessity of having a third person on the team. With a sigh, he grabbed the resumes piled on his desk and glanced through them, until one name caught his attention. He called a girl named Luana to offer her the job opportunity and told her to arrive punctually on Tuesday, which the curly-haired girl accepted. The day arrived, and so did the fair-skinned girl. There were a few difficulties during the interview, but she managed to pass without any issues and was accepted. On that very same day, she had to introduce herself to her new colleagues to start working.

Chase was immediately attracted to the curly-haired girl; she was pretty and charismatic, and he couldn't stop looking at her. After attending to a patient, Chase approached Luana, summoning all his courage to speak to her and act completely normal, even though he was dying of nerves on the inside.

-"H-hey, how's it going? What are you doing here?"

Chase spoke, stuttering slightly, with a small smile on his lips.
