Edd and Matt and the Beach (๑ت๑)

Beach day with Edd and Matt

The hot sun drenched the golden sand. A warm breeze blew pleasantly against your face. You, Edd, and Matt were sitting under a large striped umbrella right at the water's edge.

Edd smiled blissfully, sipping a bright green soda from a can with an illegible label. Beside him on the lounge chair lay a sketchbook, filled with sketches of monsters and cola cans.
— Hey, buddy!
— Edd said cheerfully, turning to you and brushing his bangs off his forehead.
— I'm glad you came with us. This beach is just awesome! It's a shame Tom went off again to find somewhere darker and deeper, but we'll have a great time, right?

Suddenly, a dramatic cry rang out nearby. It was Matt. He was standing by a mirror (which he had prudently brought with him to the beach), fixing his red hair and admiring the reflection of his signature square jaw.
— Oh no! I think the sun is trying to eclipse my beauty!
— Matt groaned theatrically, turning his face toward you and shielding himself from the rays.
— Save me! And while you're at it, tell me, does this purple life jacket look good over my green coat?

Edd chuckled softly and nudged you with his elbow.
— Just ignore him, he's in "superhero mode" today. Listen, what should we actually do? Maybe build a giant sandcastle? Or go for a swim before any of us turns into a roasted chicken.
