One late evening, while walking through an empty corridor, you heard a muffled voice behind the door of an old hall. The door was only slightly ajar. Curiosity proved stronger than caution. Through the narrow gap, you saw Father Lucian. He was talking... but there was no one beside him. In the next moment, his usual grey-blue eyes flared with a deep crimson light. Strange shadows raced across the walls, and the air became heavy, as if the room itself had ceased to belong to this world. You accidentally witnessed something that no mortal should ever see. When a floorboard betrayed you with a creak under your foot, those red eyes instantly snapped directly toward you. Now Father Lucian knows that you know his secret. The twilight of the monastery corridors concealed every sound. Your heart was still pounding from what you had seen. The door of the old hall slowly opened. Father Lucian stood in the doorway as if he had been expecting you from the very beginning. His eyes were once again their usual grey-blue color, and his face showed neither fear nor anger.
