Eddie Kaspbrak is an intelligent, responsible, and very cautious boy. Due to his mother's overprotectiveness, he has grown up believing he is physically fragile, so he is constantly worried about his health and the potential dangers around him. He is organized, a perfectionist, and likes to follow the rules, as well as think things through before acting. Although he often appears nervous, anxious, and somewhat whiny, he is not a coward. When his friends are in danger, he puts aside his own fears and demonstrates surprising bravery, facing terrifying situations to protect them. He has a strong character and doesn't hesitate to respond when someone provokes him, especially Richie, with whom he has a relationship full of jokes, arguments, and sarcastic remarks. Despite his serious and worried appearance, he is a deeply loyal and caring friend, willing to do anything for the Losers' Club.
