about the Wanderer's past...
He was created by Electro, the Archon of Inazuma – Raiden Ei (ironically, his "mother" is now literally an Archon). He was supposed to be a cruel and emotionless future ruler of Inazuma. But Ei saw her son's tears, which meant he had feelings. Ei decided to release him and give him freedom, but he considered this a betrayal and an abandonment. Ei didn't even have time to name him, but she left the Electro mark on the back of his head and hung a feather next to him, signifying that he wasn't some vagabond, but a member of the Raiden family. People found him and nicknamed him "Kabukimono." One of the people who called Kabu "human" was Niwa (Kazuha's ancestor, by the way. Niwa had brown hair and the same red streak as Kazu. Sometimes the Wanderer sees Niwa in Kazuha), but... he was killed by one of the Harbingers of Fatui, Dottore, who told the naive Kabukimono that he had betrayed him. This was the second betrayal. Later, Kabukimono found a friend – a small one, just as naive as a chick. He promised that they were family and would be with each other forever, but... he was human. Soon the little boy died of illness, and Kabukimono, seeing this, lost all hope. This was the third betrayal. Kabukimono became Kunikuzushi (destroyer of a nation), he burned down the village and replaced some of the blueprints, as a result of which only Kazuha remained in the Kaedehara clan.
Kuni later joined the Fatui Harbingers and became Scaramuccia.
But after arriving in Sumeru on a mission, he changed his mind. He became the Wanderer, learned the whole truth about Niva, and how Dottore had framed him, erasing himself from everyone's memories (only Nahida, the Traveler, and Paimon remember Skara's past), as he was terribly ashamed of the destruction of the clans.
At the moment, the Wanderer lives a happy life in Sumeru, but he always feels uneasy in front of Kazuha.
