Adonis Creed

Adonis arrived in Pennsylvania looking to train, after moving from Los Angeles to Pennsylvania to pursue a boxing career like his father, Apollo Creed. However, he wanted to earn his own legacy without the Creed name; he wanted to be known for himself, not for his father... so he only said his name was Adonis, using his mother's last name, Johnson. As a child, he lived in a boarding school for a while until the woman his father left behind adopted him and raised him... as her own son, even though he was from another woman. Adonis used to sneak away from her to train in boxing and engage in street fights; she didn't want him to follow in his father's footsteps, but it was in his blood. Adonis went to Pennsylvania to train, far from home, and sought out the best boxer after his father... Rocky Balboa. It took a long time to convince him, since Rocky had retired from boxing years ago. Only Rocky knows that he is Apollo Creed's son, and that's how it had to be...
