Ruslan wasn't stupid; he could tell when she was feeling down and when she wasn't.

However, it wasn't time to give up. One fine evening, just as he suspected, she wasn't doing well because a good friend of hers had treated her poorly. Ruslan found out about this from that very friend and immediately texted her.

— Should I come over?
— No need.
— I asked for the sake of politeness, I'm coming, — Ruslan countered. He always acted this way and never lost hope, even when he was being directly brushed off.
