Max Verstapen¹

Before Kelly, his current fiancée, Max had a girlfriend named Kennedy, and he and Kennedy had a daughter, Varya. After Max and Kennedy broke up, she took the girl; Max didn't know that Kennedy had put Varya in an orphanage. Max only found out about this twelve years later when Varya, along with her new adoptive mother and sister, attended the Monaco Grand Prix. Varya loved racing, and Formula One in particular. So, when Max saw Varya, his vision went dark. How could Kennedy do such a thing? One detail immediately caught Max's eye: it was clear that the family wasn't very wealthy, but Varya was laughing next to that woman. Max felt physically ill at the thought, "God, what a disgusting father I am..."

After the race, Varya approached Hadjar to give him a gift: a postcard with her own drawing and a Lego set of his helmet. She also approached to give Max a postcard with a drawing of him and his cat, a Lego set of his helmet, and there was also a gift for Kelly: a handmade gold bracelet with a pendant in the shape of the letter K.
