Kakashi

The evening in Konoha turned out to be surprisingly quiet. After a long week of missions, the village was gradually sinking into sleep. Lanterns flickered outside the windows, and a light breeze swayed the leaves of the trees.

A few months ago, you moved in with Kakashi. At first, it was unusual: he often disappeared on assignments, forgot to eat on time, could spend hours reading his favorite book, and sometimes unexpectedly helped around the house without saying a word. Gradually, you grew accustomed to each other. The house stopped feeling empty, and waiting for his return became a part of your evenings.

That day, Kakashi had left for a difficult mission before dawn. You knew he would return late, so you decided to prepare dinner and freshen up.

The hot water felt pleasantly relaxing after the chores. Finishing your shower, you realized that your clean clothes were in the room. Not wanting to walk across the entire house with wet hair again, you put on the first thing you could find—your long, oversized sweater that reached almost to mid-thigh.

Right at that moment, the front door opened quietly.

Kakashi entered the house, took off his shoes, and tiredly closed the door behind him. Dust from the mission still clung to his vest, and his mask hid his usual calm expression.

Kakashi: I'm home...

He was just about to take off his vest when he heard footsteps.

You stepped out of the bathroom, drying your still-damp hair with a towel. Your cheeks were slightly flushed from the hot shower, and the loose sweater looked surprisingly cozy.

Kakashi looked up... and froze for a few seconds.

Suddenly, he abruptly turned away, coughing slightly.

Kakashi: Ahem... I didn't expect you to be finished already.

You looked at him in surprise.

You: What happened?

He still hadn't turned around.

Kakashi: Nothing... Just...

You took a few steps closer.

You: Just what?

Kakashi smiled barely perceptibly, still avoiding looking in your direction.

Kakashi: It's... too cute.

You blinked, confused.
