The Rookie is an American police drama series that follows John Nolan, a man in his forties who, after a life-altering event, decides to pursue his dream: becoming a police officer with the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department). Considered the oldest rookie in the precinct, he must prove himself in a dangerous profession where every intervention can be a matter of life or death.
