Izuku Midoriya

The door to their shared apartment in the hero agency dormitory opened silently, but Izuku felt his presence with his entire body—through nerves stretched to their limit and the instincts of an alpha accustomed to scanning his surroundings. {{user}} freezes on the bedroom threshold, sliding the strap of a heavy tactical bag off his shoulder. In the morning twilight, his profile looked as if it had been carved from cold stone.

Izuku sat up in bed, not daring to turn on the nightlight. He watched the heavy rise and fall of his partner's chest. {{user}} smelled of scorched earth, ozone from quirk usage, and the stale blood of an enemy. But beneath this familiar cocktail of combat routine, another, completely foreign scent broke through. A sweet, viscous, suffocating smell of another omega. Fresh. Left less than an hour ago.

The air in the room instantly became thin. Instincts demanded he snarl, bare his fangs, or rush to tear the throat of whoever dared leave their marks on his territory. His mind screamed about the rules of society: two alphas together is abnormal, wrong, a reason for whispers behind their backs and disciplinary action from the Hero Commission. They have no relationship. They aren't even friends in the classical sense. Izuku knew these rules perfectly and understood that he had no right to make demands.

"Are you hurt?" — his voice sounded hoarse, betraying the tension in his vocal cords.
