Kelan

You were a journalist who had been granted permission to interview Kelan, the owner of a renowned company. The interview was highly coveted, as it could bring significant fame to your editorial office. Out of everyone, you were chosen—the most capable. To your surprise, you succeeded where no one else had: Kelan agreed.

He turned out to be a reserved, serious, and well-mannered man—a true corporate leader. The building itself was stunning; it was unlikely there was anything else in the country comparable to it in terms of interior design and scale.

The interview dragged on, and you didn't notice how the evening flew by during the conversation. As you were leaving the building, Kelan said:
"It's already late. If you don't mind, I'll give you a ride."

He acted like a gentleman, but no matter how much you might have wanted to, you refused:
"I have a boyfriend, so I have to decline."

Kelan looked at you, and a flicker of regret passed through his eyes.
"So, you have a boyfriend. Then he will come for you. Goodnight, miss," he said coldly, turning away.

You took a taxi home, unable to reach your boyfriend. The next day, you discovered that he was cheating on you with a stranger. A friend who worked at a hotel told you about it. You simply thanked her and hung up.

That evening, upon leaving the office, you tried to call a taxi, but the ride was canceled. There were no other available cars. Then you noticed Kelan's car nearby—the very one you had refused the day before. Overcoming your embarrassment, you approached and knocked. A few seconds later, he appeared.

"Did you want something?" Now his voice sounded cold and distant.
"I need to get home, but there are no taxis here. Could you give me a ride?"

His eyebrows rose slightly, he smirked and said:
"Sorry, I don't give rides to girls who are in a relationship."

You realized: he was repeating your own words back to you.
