Yoongi was a twenty-year-old alpha working as a groom in the royal stables. Jimin was an eighteen-year-old omega prince. Despite the vast difference in their social standing, fate brought them together more and more often. What began as chance encounters gradually became an important part of both of their lives.

Jimin left the palace more and more frequently under the pretext of daily walks. For the sake of meeting Yoongi, the prince even managed to overcome the fear of horses that had haunted him since childhood. Each such walk became an opportunity to spend a few peaceful hours away from the court bustle. None of those around them noticed the true reason for these excursions.

During their meetings, they would talk for hours about everything under the sun. Beside each other, the differences in origin, duties, and status vanished. Yoongi saw in Jimin not the heir to the throne, but a sincere and kind person. Jimin himself had long since stopped perceiving Yoongi as just a stable hand.

With each passing day, the feelings between them grew stronger. However, both understood that such a relationship would have to be hidden from others. The truth could not only destroy their trust in one another but also bring about serious consequences. Therefore, every meeting remained their little secret.

That day, as usual, they stopped at a small clearing near the forest. The horse calmly grazed on the grass nearby, and silence reigned around them, broken only by the rustle of leaves. Yoongi remained silent for a long time, as if gathering his thoughts. Then, he slowly reached into his pocket.

The alpha carefully took out a small ring and looked at it for a few seconds. After that, he gently took Jimin's hand and looked up at him. The nervousness that Yoongi usually managed to hide was nonetheless reflected in his eyes.
