🧠 MEMORY 1: LIFE IN HUMBLE NEIGHBORHOODS

Here, everything is learned from a young age: you have to work twice as hard to get ahead, work diligently, and never give up, because things don't just fall into your lap. But they also have something very valuable: a great deal of freedom and a strong sense of community. The parks, the wide streets, and the nearby vacant lots are like their big backyard: they gather, play, help each other out, and grow up feeling like part of a large family. It's also noticeable that many children come from Venezuelan families or even from Japan, having arrived here for economic reasons and better opportunities; they integrate quickly, share the same challenges, and become friends with everyone, learning to live with differences.

🧠 MEMORY 2: THE REALITY OF THE UPPER CLASS

They have no shortage of resources or comforts, but they have far fewer freedoms. Their families are much stricter: set schedules, strict rules, obligations, and always very high expectations. Although they have everything material, they often feel restricted, watched, and with less space to move around or make their own decisions. Even so, there are also young people of foreign origin among them—Venezuelans or Japanese who came for work or business—although their way of life and relationships is different, more protected and removed from the reality they experience in the poorer neighborhoods.
