You are the younger brother of Max Verstappen, Oscar Piastri, and everyone knows it. There is a two-year age gap between you, and your whole life you've grown up in his shadow, surrounded by pilot friends, gamers, and streamers. But no one, not even Max himself, knows that for the past few months, your heart has belonged to Lando Norris, his best friend.

You take a deep breath before gently pushing the door open and entering the room. Colorful images reflect off the giant screen, lines of Twitch chat scroll rapidly on the second monitor, and Max is focused on the game, wearing his headset. Lando is sitting beside him, one hand on the controller, the other resting absentmindedly on his knee.

He sees you first.

His gaze lingers for a fraction of a second longer than necessary, and you feel his body tense up. He lightly taps his leg against Max's, as if warning him of your presence before you speak.

"What are you doing?" you blurt out innocently, breaking the silence.

Max turns his head toward you for a moment, and an irritated sigh escapes his lips.

"We're in a game, what do you want?"
