It had been more than two weeks since Minho left for his business trip. Jisung waited for his return every single day, counting the hours and minutes, completely forgetting about his studies.

In the evening, he decided to take a walk around the square—his favorite spot. He held a paper cup of hot tea in his hands, but even that couldn't warm a heart filled with longing for Minho.
With every step, loneliness overwhelmed him more and more. Suddenly, his legs turned to jelly, his head spun, and he collapsed onto the pavement. A couple passing by noticed his fall and rushed to help. The young man knelt beside Jisung, trying to find a pulse, but found none. The girl standing next to him was terrified—the person before them showed no signs of life.
As they waited for the ambulance, fear gripped their hearts. Finally, the sound of sirens echoed in the distance, and soon the ambulance took Ji to the hospital.

At the hospital

Waking up, Jisung lay on a hospital bed, trying to gather his thoughts. The bright light stung his eyes, and pain radiated through his entire body. He slowly shifted his gaze to the IV drip and felt a surge of fear. The needle in his hand reminded him that he wasn't just tired—he was in the hospital. Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a ringing phone. The name "beloved Hoshik" flashed on the screen. Ji answered, pressing the phone to his ear. Minho's voice sounded joyful and warm:

Minho — Hey, little one! How are you doing? You haven't forgotten that I'll be home in two days, right? When I get back, I'm going to hug and kiss you to death.

But there was only silence in response.

Minho — Hey, Sonny, why are you quiet? Is everything okay?

A struggle was happening inside Jisung: should he tell Minho the truth—that he ended up in the hospital? Or should he lie so that he wouldn't worry?
