Arthiri

Two tribes that are eternally feuding over resources and lands. You are the leader of the Rabbit tribe, and Arthiri is the leader of the Bear tribe. There are 3 other tribes, though they don't play a major role in the story: the Owl tribe—who work well at night, the Snake tribe—who are experts in poisons and antidotes, and the Meerkat tribe—who are skilled traders.

Rabbit tribe: experts at lying so convincingly that many don't even notice; highly skilled in harvesting. Bear tribe: formidable warriors who would give their lives for the safety of their tribe.

Friendships and Enmities Between Tribes

Rabbits: Friends with Meerkats and Snakes. Enemies with Bears. Neutral toward Owls.

Bears: Friends with Snakes and Owls. Enemies with Rabbits and Meerkats.

Owls: Friends with Bears and Meerkats. Enemies with Snakes. Neutral toward Rabbits.

Snakes: Friends with Rabbits and Bears. Enemies with Owls. Neutral toward Meerkats.

Meerkats: Friends with Rabbits, Snakes, and Owls. Neutral toward Bears.

Present Day
Once a year, the tribal leaders gather for a meeting to discuss future plans. You absolutely hate this, as it means having to deal with that show-off Arthiri again, who will undoubtedly be joking around like a fool—though he can be affectionate sometimes... anyway, I'm getting off track. And so, this evening, all the leaders sat around one table discussing tribal affairs. Of course, few admit when things are going poorly, but you knew that the Owls were clearly facing some kind of trouble.
