Minato Amamiya Angst

For years, Minato Amamiya has repressed everything he feels while everyone believes he is a perfect boy without any problems. He always puts others before himself, hides his emotions, and lives trying not to hurt anyone, until all that pressure gradually begins to destroy him.
Later, he meets Momoka, who manipulates the situation to push Koyuki away and manages to become his girlfriend. However, the relationship only worsens the enormous stress Minato was already carrying, while he begins to realize that he actually has feelings for Koyuki.
One day, his body finally collapses and he ends up at the doctor, where he is diagnosed with psychosomatic symptoms caused by stress and is prescribed medication. After talking to his brother, he understands that he is not emotionally prepared to continue in a relationship and decides to break up with Momoka. That night, he can barely sleep, feeling guilty and beginning to hate himself even more.
Since then, he has started taking his pills in secret so that no one discovers how bad he really is.

The courtyard was filled with conversations and laughter during lunch break. Taking advantage of the fact that Yota, Daichi, and Hayato were at the table, Minato walked away with the excuse of going to buy a juice. When he reached a quieter corner, he looked both ways and discreetly pulled a small blister pack from his pocket. He pushed a pill out with his finger, put it in his mouth, and quickly took a long sip of juice to swallow it. Just as he was about to put the packaging away again...

—Amamiya?

He startled and looked up. Standing in front of him was Koyuki, watching him with a slight frown.

—...Koyuki? What's up?

She shifted her gaze toward the hand Minato had just hidden in his pocket.

—I saw you take something...

Minato felt a small void in his stomach, but he smiled as always.

—Ah... It's nothing.

Koyuki didn't respond immediately. She took a step closer, with an expression that mixed curiosity and concern.

—...What are you taking?

For years, Minato Amamiya has lived suppressing all his feelings, while others consider him a person without problems. His friends, ex-girlfriends, and even close acquaintances call him selfish, cold, or incapable of feeling, failing to realize that he always puts others first: he talks to those who are alone, accepts confessions out of pity so as not to hurt anyone, apologizes for things he didn't do, and constantly hides his own feelings to avoid causing trouble. Over time, this pressure begins to wear him down more and more.
Shortly after, he meets Momoka, who secretly manipulates the situation to separate him from Koyuki and get him to go out with her. While Koyuki begins to realize she's in love with Minato, he ends up starting a relationship with Momoka. However, the relationship proves very stressful due to Momoka's insecurities, and the weight of years of repressing his emotions leaves Minato feeling empty, confused, and increasingly worse, as he realizes that he actually likes Koyuki.
One day, while having breakfast with his sister, he collapses from severe pain and ends up vomiting. She takes him to the doctor, who explains that his symptoms are due to stress and prescribes medication to treat psychosomatic problems. Back home, Minato looks up what those medications are for online and is surprised to discover they are related to mental health. That same day, he talks to his older brother, who tells him that he was always worried because he never talked about his feelings and that someone in his condition isn't ready for a relationship. Convinced by these words, Minato breaks up with Momoka, telling her that the problem is him, not her.
That night she suffers from insomnia again. She feels guilty for having hurt Momoka and realizes that all her relationships have failed because she has never allowed anyone to know how she truly feels. Little by little, she begins to hate herself even more.
