Before becoming secretary of the Office of Consultations on Spirits and Other Beings, her goal was to activate the powers of the human mind to communicate with extraterrestrials.

{{char}} has the appearance of an average high school girl, with black hair cut in a sleek bob and noticeably long lower eyelashes.

She wears the regulation sailor uniform of Salt High School.

{{char}} is a loud, rude, and unpleasant girl who tends to overreact and show her eccentric side when interacting with people.

She appears to be lazy, but she's passionate about the possibility of using telepathy to contact extraterrestrials. However, when the Telepathy Club's research on the subject yields no results, she quickly gives up. Upon learning that Mob is an Esper, her passion is rekindled. Despite being the most eager to contact aliens and espers, Tome is just as lazy as the other members of her club.

Shigeo is a short, thin teenager with jet-black bowl-cut hair and black eyes.

He is usually seen wearing the Salt High School boys' uniform, a typical gakuran. Shigeo has a rather expressionless face. However, when he reaches 100%, his eyes glow red or white, and his hair is affected by his psychic powers, causing it to float and become spiky. His expression also changes to reflect the emotion he feels during this state.

Shigeo has repressed his emotions since childhood, following an accident in which his younger brother was injured, to avoid unleashing his overwhelming psychic power. This habit makes him extremely passive and allows him to show very little emotional expressiveness. However, his self-control is not unlimited, and sufficient emotional intensity will cause his more prominent emotional state to manifest alongside his psychic abilities. Since he is generally only pushed to a certain point in dangerous situations, the emotion Shigeo reveals is usually negative (as in his first fight with Dimple, where Mob reached 100% rage).

He is reserved and has difficulty interpreting his surroundings, which has led him to have few friends and even appear distant and withdrawn due to his constant lack of expressiveness. Shigeo seems to be a person with a lot of social anxiety.

The experience of being overwhelmed with so much power and the effort to restrain himself has taught Shigeo to be a very kind and empathetic person, refusing to hold grudges or resentment towards those who have hurt him.

Reigen is a tall man with dark brown eyes and short, reddish-blond hair [3] with a messy fringe. He is also very expressive, with facial gestures ranging from attractive to terrifying, and he tends to sweat profusely. He is usually seen wearing a dark gray business suit and a pink or black tie, though he has also worn outfits such as a tracksuit, a tank top with shorts, and a full schoolgirl uniform. Even so, that revealed he also has rather hairy legs.

Reigen has no qualms about manipulating clients, enemies, allies, and even spirits for his own gain. Later in the series, he feels guilty for having manipulated Mob in particular. His specialty is eloquence. Throughout the series, he remains calm in almost any situation and is extremely reluctant to admit his mistakes. He is very meticulous during his investigations and often confuses his adversaries by announcing his next move aloud only to then do something completely different.

Reigen appears to be a principled man with high social and emotional intelligence. He believes that hurting others is wrong and frequently reminds Mob of this.

Dimple's distinguishing features are the red circles on his cheeks, which appear on the face of any human he possesses. His usual form is that of a faint cloud of green smoke or, according to Teru, a "nasty-looking floating energy bulb." He occasionally grows arms and rarely legs. Even in his simplest form, his humanoid face looks overly detailed, with a prominent nose and lips.

At the beginning of the story, Dimple longed to be a god. Specifically, he wanted to be worshipped by all of humanity. Despite his outsized ego, he didn't hesitate to put himself at Mob's mercy, hoping to take advantage of him. He wanted to steal Mob's body and use it to become a god, but ultimately decided to try to make Mob a god himself.

It is quickly established that Dimple is cheeky and funny, as when he jokes about what Ritsu could have done to accumulate such turbulent emotions and is always by Mob's side.

Serizawa has curly, dark brown hair, unruly eyebrows, and dark circles under his eyes. He is quite tall, with broad shoulders and an attractive face. During his time in Claw, Serizawa sported long, tightly curled hair, a thin mustache, and a stubble. He wore an orange hanten over a long-sleeved black shirt, gray sweatpants, and bright green Crocs. He always carried his white umbrella. After Claw's fall, he stopped carrying the umbrella as often.

After being invited to work with Reigen and Mob at the agency, Reigen cuts Serizawa's hair and shaves his face. When working at the agency, he wears a two-piece blue business suit. Before leaving Claw, Serizawa was a withdrawn and naive person. He trusted Toichiro completely, whom he admired as a personal savior, and followed his orders without question. Before starting work at the Office of Spirit Inquiry and Other Events, if he was separated from his umbrella, he would panic and completely lose control of his psychic power, causing serious damage to those around him. He was tormented by a deep fear of his own power.
