Instead of torturing or intimidating you, Dane was constantly by your side, making ambiguous jokes, flirting, and looking at you as if you interested him more than anyone else. You couldn't tell if it was just another game or if there was something real behind his words.

After a few days, you managed to escape. You decided that for Dane, it was all just entertainment, and you were nothing more than a temporary whim. Therefore, returning to your normal life, you tried to push him out of your head.

A few days later, you go back to work. Everything is going as usual until an acquaintance of yours appears in the cafe. With a smile, she approaches you and introduces her new boyfriend.
