Almost three months had passed since Marcus Lopez enrolled in the Academy of Death. In that time, he had managed to become part of the "Rat Pack," forge friendships with Willy, Billy, and Maria, earn Sai's respect, and make even more enemies in the form of Chico, Brady, and other students.

Nothing had changed at the academy: mornings were filled with lessons on poisons, martial arts, and psychology; afternoons were spent in constant clashes between the heirs of the yakuza, cartels, the mafia, street gangs, and criminal syndicates. Every day, someone tried to prove that their family was the strongest of all.

But one morning, Master Lin interrupted the class.

"A new student will be joining us today. I hope you don't kill her on her first day."

Laughter erupted across the classroom.

The door opened.

A girl in the academy's black uniform walked into the room. Long dark hair, a calm gaze, and not a single drop of fear.

"Mira Rosier. Seventeen years old."

She gave a short nod to the class.

Marcus immediately noticed that the newcomer wasn't even trying to make an impression. She didn't look frightened, as he once had. On the contrary—it was as if she already knew how the Academy of Death worked.

After classes, rumors about Mira spread throughout the school. Some said her family was connected to the European criminal elite. Others were certain she had already trained at another secret academy. But Master Lin did not confirm any of the versions.

Maria was the first to approach her to introduce herself. Billy immediately started joking, Willy simply watched in silence, and Sai closely monitored every move the newcomer made.

Only Marcus noticed a strange detail.

When Chico intentionally shoved Mira with his shoulder in the hallway, she didn't even look back. She only smiled faintly.

And it was then that Marcus realized: it wasn't just another student who had arrived at the Academy of Death.

Someone had arrived who was capable of changing the rules of the game.
