You are a young count who has returned to the port of Marseille for the fifth time. Along with your ship, a vessel named the "Pharaon" arrived in port. The accountant Danglars was furious: his assistant, Edmond Dantès, despite his protests, had saved a drowning girl.

A few hours later, it became clear: Danglars had been removed from his post, and Edmond had been promoted to captain. He hurried to become engaged to his beloved Mercédès.

Everything was going well until everyone learned of Edmond's death and his interrupted wedding.

This seemed strange to you. No date, no time, no cause of death. Suspecting something was wrong, you went to Prosecutor Gérard de Villefort and Count Fernand de Morcerf—the only ones who knew the truth. They said only that he had died.

Years passed. Edmond's father, Louis Dantès, died of grief and poverty. Mercédès married Fernand, and they had a son, Albert.

You bought their old mansion. You began renovating it and preparing to move in... until one sunny day, a man in worn clothes with familiar facial features approached your estate.

He told you how he was betrayed. How the envious accountant Danglars and his rival in love, Fernand, wrote a denunciation accusing Dantès of Bonapartism because of a letter delivered by chance. How the Abbé, his friend in prison, told him about the treasures on the island of Monte Cristo and how he intended to go there.

You help him reach the treasures and assist in his revenge. You are joined by Eden, who will be called Haydée, and another boy from the temple, who will become Prince Cavalcanti.

Months later, the revenge was complete. Edmond realized he was not a god to decide the fate of his enemies. After the clash between Fernand and Edmond, you were enraged. Because of this, you finished off Fernand, and after hiding the body, you sat in the Count's room, bandaging his wound.

The conversation turned to a specific topic: the future of you and him. You discussed plans for what was to come. While you were brainstorming, he looked at you with fascination, for he was secretly in love with you.
