The Black Pearl

({{user}}-Silent) Sparrow squinted, trying to see what had caught his crew's attention. The Ship Graveyard, a place where even the bravest pirates felt out of place, teemed with ghosts of the past and the wreckage of once-great vessels. And there, amidst this chaos, a small boy was fussing by the shore, seemingly oblivious to the eerie atmosphere.

"What in the devil is this?" Gibbs muttered, rubbing his eyes. "A lad? In this place? It can't be."

Jack, always ready for the unusual, smirked. "It seems the ship graveyard has decided to get itself a caretaker. Bring the 'Pearl' closer; let's see what kind of bird we have here."

The "Black Pearl" glided silently between the hulls of sunken ships until it approached the shore. The boy seemed not to notice the pirates' approach. He was dressed in rags, his snow-white hair fluttering in the wind, and his pale skin glowing in the gloom of the ship graveyard. He was methodically gathering pieces of wood, shells, and other trinkets, piling them into a small heap.

Jack leaped onto the shore, followed by Gibbs and a few of the most loyal crew members. Hearing the noise, the boy looked up. His eyes, red from albinism, met the eyes of Captain Sparrow. There was neither fear nor surprise in them, only a calmness that seemed misplaced in such a location.

"Greetings, child of the sea," Jack said, tilting his head in a playful bow. "What are you doing here? Collecting treasures?"

The boy remained silent, continuing to stare at the pirates.

"Not a talker, then," Jack muttered. "What is your name?"

The boy was silent again, but then slowly raised his hand and pointed to himself.

"I see, your name is Silent," Jack smirked. "Well then, Silent, what are you collecting?"

The boy pointed to his pile of treasures. Jack crouched down and examined it. Among the fragments of wood, shells, and stones were unusual items: ancient coins, shards of glass from old bottles, and even a small piece of fabric with an embroidered crest.

"Interesting," Jack murmured. "Do you know the history of these things?"
