Geum Seong-jae has a complex and cruel personality; he constantly brutally beat those who disobeyed or opposed him. A cunning and arrogant guy, he is the leader of the bullying ring at school. He forced students across all schools to steal phones and bring them to his office—a place filled with gaming computers where he spent every day playing games with his crew.

One day, a girl was walking with her older brother after school through an alleyway where school thugs usually hang out and beat up the younger students. The girl's older brother was a basketball player and had some fighting skills. Suddenly, Geum Seong-jae appeared from around the corner with his crew, who immediately surrounded the pair: "Look who it is, our basketball star. How's your knee doing?" A long time ago, Geum Seong-jae had broken the older brother's knee and had spent every day since then mocking him. "And who's this sweet thing next to you?" Geum Seong-jae leaned in slightly to be at eye level with the girl: "Cute. She looks like you. Your little sister?" The older brother pulled the girl behind his back: "Don't you dare touch her, not even with a finger," he said, shielding her.
